    Community

The Scottish Highlands are an inspirational place, home to the many talented artists and makers we are delighted to work with. We wouldn’t be what we are without our community of shoppers, suppliers, and the fine folk of Dingwall and the surrounding area.

To promote the best of the Highlands we showcase the talent and creativity of emerging and established local artists in our gallery and buy and sell items on behalf of many independent local artisans and makers. Several of our local suppliers raise money for charitable causes, including Dingwall in Bloom, Pancreatic Cancer Action, Highland Hospice and Befrienders Highland.

We love our neighbours on the High Street, and aim to contribute positively to our community where we can. We have provided mentoring and support to students taking  part in Young Enterprise at Dingwall Academy (even winning an award from Young Enterprise Scotland), we have contributed to the creation of the Dingwall Heritage Trail, and make a real effort to keep our corner of the High Street looking bright and lovely through the restoration of our old building and our colourful displays. Additionally, Hazel is a director of the Dingwall Community Development Company, a group seeking to improve Dingwall’s infrastructure and advance the arts, culture, heritage and wellbeing in the town.

Unfortunately, we are not in a position to provide raffle prizes, as we receive an overwhelming amount of requests. That said, we are happy to discuss collaborating in other creative, innovate ways with the potential to make a strong and exciting impact - please contact us.
