From where I live there's a track that takes me to a small bridge over the railway line and down to the River Wick. I take this track almost daily to walk my dogs. Dog walking is something that dominates my life; having 3 dogs makes it a priority. These daily walks along the side of the river have led me to appreciate so much more than the first viewing would. They say familiarity breeds contempt but to me it also brings fondness and an appreciation of beauty that is perhaps not obvious at first glance. This is the third piece I have done from my walks here; it is my space for clearing my head, having a break and enjoying the joy of my dogs running and swimming.
