This new group of work explores where I live and work, and my childhood memories of Dornoch and Embo beaches where I would rock pool ,swim and ride my pony all in my favourite outfit of woolie hat and wellies.
I work on wooden panels with mixed media acrylic, ink and oil. I multi-layer with thin washes and use sand paper to expose and highlight. I do use my own secret ingredient - the fresh sea water that I collect daily.
