Meet The Artist : Julia Complin

Julia Complin invites you to join her informally at Alchemist Gallery on Saturday 21^st October between 11am and 1pm. You can view Julia’s collection of handwoven textile artwork and learn more about her creative process.  Through a series of sketch books and images of landscapes that inspire her work, Julia will also explain how weave patterns are designed on computer and then handwoven on a Swedish Glimakra floor loom.  If you have any ‘how did you do that’ questions, please come along and Julia will be happy to answer them.  Julia's current exhibition 'Woven by Nature' will run in our upstairs gallery from 12th October until 4th January.
