"My work often features a central character who has a story to tell and having a background as an animator has richly enhanced how I approach drawing. Creating work that can make people smile, or reflect, and transport them somewhere beyond the ‘now’, is what drives me."
Rachel currently works from her studio based in Edinburgh. She works predominately with drypoint etching and other printmaking techniques, creating limited editions of prints and supplies her work to a small selection of galleries. Rachel also works part time at the the Edinburgh College of Art as a lecturer in the Animation department.
