Working in pen and ink, Elspeth Skinner is drawn to the medium’s demand for detail and quiet intensity, embracing its permanence and the careful, deliberate marks it requires. Through her work, she hopes others find a gentle pause; a space to reconnect with their own moments of contentment and curiosity. Circles frequently appear in her drawings, creating contained spaces that feel safe and secret, while also expressing the vulnerability inherent in sharing them.
